In academic collaboration with Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione (IULM) Milano*
BA in Cultural Management aims to train future professionals who will be able to develop creative projects and new approaches on regional, national and international levels within the changing cultural, economic and social environment. Students of the Program graduate with operational, communications and administrative skills needed to design, market and coordinate all types of cultural products and activities.
Starting with new technological developments, particularly from the mid 20th century onward, vast changes in cultural development have led to the popular terminology of ‘Culture Industry’ and ‘Creative class.’ Cultural Management has been at the crossroads of technology and culture, driven by the economy and resulting in the creation of new dynamic disciplines.
While theory is part of the coursework, Istanbul as a rapidly developing cultural metropolis, offers students of Cultural Management every possibility to pioneer and realize new projects through applied practical experience.
* As of 2012-2013 academic year, students will study at IULM for one year and the course credits they earned at IULM will be transferred by BİLGİ Art Management.
