Advertising Program

The ever increasing competition in the modern marketplace compels firms to seek innovative ways in order to establish strong and long lasting relationships with their customers. In such a business environment young and well equipped marketing communication professionals with creative skills are valued greatly. The Advertising Program at İstanbul Bilgi University aims to prepare its students with specialized knowledge and skills so that they can not only excel in the marketing communication environment of today, but also design the marketing communication landscape of tomorrow.

The program offers a rich curriculum to familiarize students with the multifarious nature of the advertising field. From marketing to design, the program covers relevant topics from related disciplines , and is engineered to provide students with a solid background on  various advertising orientations such as strategy, copywriting, visual design and digital communication. 

Theoretical and practical courses are carried out by a distinguished staff comprised of leading academics and industry experts. During their study students start their own agencies and find the chance to increase their real life experience by working with real customers and eminent advertising professionals from the field. The last four semesters of the curriculum involve an intense focus on portfolio development and hands on experience. During this time students also benefit from our international connections through the Erasmus and Laureate Networks. Students complete their study by choosing from among three tracks: entrepreneurship, mentorship, and academic writing.
